Pensions

We are off to Stourbridge to demonstrate in favour of fair pensions for public sector workers.  The Green Party seems to be the only English Parliamentary party supporting the workers.

The fool!

I had a meeting in Birmingham last night and parked in the lovely recharging point on Temple Row in the middle of Birmingham. I was annoyed to see that some unpleasant person had parked in the other bay, thus depriving any other user of the opportunity to recharge their car.

I got back to my lovely little G-Wiz after a meeting to find a parking ticket telling me that I wasn’t charging at the parking point (code 14 for Birmingham parking connoisseurs).   After flipping my lid and ranting to anyone who would listen I took the ticket out of the packet and realised that the lovely driver of the Lexus in the other parking spot had taken the ticket they had been given and stuck it on my window.

Thank you CEO BM703, Birmingham City Council and the CABLED project .

Worth it

I got more than 1,000 votes from the good people of Netherton and Woodside and came second to Labour.  The big question now is “Who will be the candidate next time?”.

Yesterday

We spent a wonderful day yesterday taking a motor bike ride to the Long Mynd.  Had a picnic at Poll Bank and a glorious ride home.  Followed by three hours canvassing.
